Install the plugin

    Download the plugin
    Use the button above to get assentrepo-1.0.0.zip.

    Upload it to WordPress
    In your admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, then click Install Now and Activate.

    Paste your site key
    Go to Settings → Cookie Consent and paste the site key from your AssentRepo dashboard. Save.
  4. 4
    Check it works
    Open your site in a private window — the banner appears. Consent events show up in your dashboard straight away.

The plugin hides the banner from logged-in administrators by default, so you can keep working without dismissing it on every page.

Prefer not to install a plugin?

Paste this snippet before </head> in your theme header, or into a header/footer plugin such as WPCode with the location set to Header and the scope set to Sitewide.
